OrcaSlicer is a free, open-source slicer for FFF/FDM 3D printing developed by SoftFever. Built on the foundations of Bambu Studio and PrusaSlicer, it pairs a modern interface with a proven slicing engine and runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. OrcaSlicer supports a wide range of printers, including Bambu Lab models (with AMS management, LAN/cloud printing) as well as many Marlin- and Klipper-based machines.
Its feature set includes organic supports with paint-on tools, variable layer height, Arachne perimeter generation (variable line width), seam painting, ironing, fuzzy skin, per-object settings and modifiers, and detailed time and cost estimates. For tuning, it offers integrated calibration tools such as flow rate, retraction, and temperature tests, plus options for pressure/linear advance where supported. Quality-of-life enhancements include auto-orientation, flexible layout tools, robust filament and profile management, and rich previews for speed, flow, and overhangs.
Designed for both newcomers and power users, OrcaSlicer delivers high-quality defaults while giving you deep control when you want it. It’s actively maintained and supported by an engaged community.
